Fresh meat and produce can be ordered through
our Wecan depot at a savings of 20% or more off retail grocery
prices. Participants pay a $5.00 membership fee per year. Anyone
can become a member, and you can try the program for one month before
joining. A $20.00 order contains 3 meats, 3 fruits and 3 vegetables-items such as bananas, apples, pears, broccoli, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, salad, roast or pork chops, chicken pieces and ground meat (pork can be substituted). Members may order only the meat for $12.00 or only the produce for $8.00; they can also place more than one order. Submit orders and payment by the 1st Thursday of the month. 9540 - 83 Ave., Edmonton, AB T6C 1B9 cheques payable to 'Wecan Food Basket' provide contact name and phone # Pick up orders at the church between noon and 4 pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Orders not picked up may be sold to other members. |
